We had a busy and fun month of October! Here are a few highlights from the month:

-Eastern Oregon University sent a representative to our district to share about college offerings to High School students.

-Mrs. Stephen's took her Government and U.S. History class on a field trip to Tamastslikt Cultural Institute in Pendleton, Oregon. They learned about the history of the tribe and how they have been impacted by the expansion of the United States. The tour guide taught them about tribes in the area and archaeological history. After the tour the students got to go outside and learn to throw an atlatl.

-The kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade went on a field trip to Taylor's Pumpkin Patch in Boardman. They were able to engage in many different activities and pick out pumpkins at the end. One of their favorite parts was the hayride!

-The FFA had their monthly Chapter Meeting and held a pumpkin carving contest.

-Kindergarten through Fifth grades all held Halloween parties and had a great time!

-Sixth through Eighth Grade students had a Halloween Dance combined with Fossil! They danced their feet off and had so much fun!
